This is a demonstration of a robot wheelchair which 'knows' about the layout of a small home and can take the occupant anywhere in the home at the press of a button, avoiding obstacles etc. The wheelchair has a joystick control as well for personal navigation.

The intention is to present this in a mock-up model home, similar to that below, to demonstrate living in a home with a wheelchair and what could be done to make it easier to get around.
It will be populated with furniture and appliances to simulate a real home and used to test real life wheelchair driving vs robot driving.
